Sex Toy Shatters Glass Door In PA, State Police Say

An airborne sex toy shattered part of a glass door — landing a Dauphin County man charges, Pennsylvania State Police detailed in a release Daily Voice received on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Brent Alan Reed, 24, of Lykens, has been charged with a count of criminal mischief for the incident, PA State Police explained. 

The victim, a 24-year-old woman, told troopers, that he "threw his clear and red, ribbed, battery operated sex toy at her front door," as stated in the release.

This bizarre act of criminal mischief played out at a home on Center Street in Wisconisco Township on Sunday, Oct. 20 around 11:30 p.m., PSP Trooper Dugan detailed in the release. 

The sex toy struck the glass door and shattered one window panel of the door, according to the release. The estimated cost of the damage is $250.

Court documents for this case were not immediately available. Reed does has a criminal record for driving under the influence of a controlled substance in 2021, for which he was sentenced to probation.

At the time of this latest incident, Reed was out of prison on $25,000 for two felonies: Aggravated Assault - Victim Less Than 6 and Defendant 18 or older and Endangering Welfare of Children - Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense on Wednesday, Oct. 9, as shown in his latest court docket. 

His preliminary hearing for that case is set before Magesterial District Judge Rebecca Jo Margerum at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
